Important Safety Information
BenzaClin® is an acne product you can get with a doctor's prescription. It is for topical use only. Do not use with other topical acne products unless directed by your doctor. Side effects are usually limited to the skin and include dry skin, itching, peeling, redness and sunburn.

How BenzaClin® Works
BenzaClin® is a topical prescription acne product that combines the acne-fighting
power of two active ingredients: benzoyl peroxide and clindamycin
Benzoyl peroxide is an ingredient commonly used to fight acne. It is helpful in reducing
inflammation of acne. Benzoyl peroxide is also effective at drying the oil commonly
found in patients with acne vulgaris.
Clindamycin is an antibiotic that helps fight bacteria and reduces inflammation of
pimples.

How to use BenzaClin®
Before application, gently wash your face with a mild cleanser and warm water. Pat dry.
BenzaClin® is easy to use. Apply a small amount to not
only the pimple, but to the entire area affected such as the chin or forehead as directed
by a doctor. Plus, BenzaClin® can be applied before your makeup application, which means it can fit into
your daily skincare routine.
BenzaClin® should be applied twice a day, once in the morning and once in the
evening, or as directed by your doctor.
Remember to follow your doctor's instructions. For any treatment to work effectively the
dosing schedule should be followed.
Be sure to contact your doctor right away if you are experiencing any side
effects from BenzaClin®.
Be patient, as all treatments take time to work.
Treatment considerations when using BenzaClin®
- You should avoid contact with eyes and inside of nose, mouth, and all mucous membranes, as the product may be irritating
- You should minimize or avoid exposure to natural or artificial sunlight while using BenzaClin®
- BenzaClin® may bleach hair or colored fabric
- Before applying BenzaClin® to affected areas, wash skin gently, rinse with warm water, and pat dry
